Cookie statement

[DRAFT for legal review: remove this line once approved]
This statement explains which cookies and similar techniques this website uses. Nothing that is not strictly necessary is used before you choose in the cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time through “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page.
Your choice
The banner offers three options: accept all, reject all, or choose per category. Until you choose, the site runs with every optional category off. When this statement changes in a way that matters, we ask you again.
We use Google Consent Mode. While analytics or marketing is off, Google’s tags may still send pings without cookies and without identifiers, which tell Google only that a page was viewed and that consent was not given. They do not identify you.
Strictly necessary
These keep the site working and remember your choice. They need no consent.
| Name | Type | What it does | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
| pm_consent | Local storage | Your cookie choice and the version of this statement you chose under | Until you change it or clear your browser |
| pm_attribution | Session storage | The campaign codes of your first page, sent with a form; advertising click identifiers only with marketing consent | Until you close the tab |
Analytics (only with your consent)
We use Google Analytics 4 to see which pages and campaigns work, in aggregate. Google receives the pages you view, how you arrived and events such as the start or submission of a form, never the contents of a form.
| Name | Provider | What it does | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
| _ga, _ga_* | Distinguishes visits and visitors for statistics | Up to 2 years |
Marketing (only with your consent)
These let us measure which advertising brings visitors and requests, and show our ads to people who visited the site. The platforms may combine this with what they know about you under their own privacy statements.
| Name | Provider | What it does | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
| _gcl_au | Google Ads | Links a visit to an ad click and measures conversions | 90 days |
| li_fat_id, lidc, bcookie | Insight tag: measures conversions and builds audiences | Up to 1 year | |
| _fbp | Meta | Pixel: measures conversions and builds audiences | 90 days |
| _uetsid, _uetvid | Microsoft Advertising | UET tag: measures conversions | 1 day and up to 13 months |
Which of these are actually set depends on the campaigns we run at the time; a platform we do not advertise on sets nothing.
